Markita is a seasoned professional with an impressive 21-year journey in the banking industry. Her path, from HR Business Partner to senior leadership roles such as SVP of Corporate Recruiting, SVP of Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations, and SVP of D&I, was marked by invaluable experiences. Yet, after two decades in one sector, the allure of new horizons grew strong.
At First Horizon, Markita found empowerment and camaraderie, but the longing for fresh challenges persisted. Then, an encounter with Iterable's dynamic team proved serendipitous. The company's innovative spirit and bold ambitions aligned perfectly with Markita's own aspirations.
In 2016, life threw a curveball as Markita faced a breast cancer diagnosis. Battling the illness and emerging victorious, she embraced a life without limits, determined to make a difference whenever the chance arose.
