In this episode I'm joined by Neneh Diallo, Chief Diversity Officer at USAID.

Neneh leads the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility within the Office of the Administrator.

With a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors, Neneh has been a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her most recent role was as Senior Vice President for Marketing and Communications at pocstock, a global Black-owned media platform committed to promoting representation and diversity in stock media. There, she spearheaded the development of the company's annual framework for their U.S. campaign, which showcased diversity, equity, and inclusion through thought leadership and impactful social media campaigns.

During her tenure as Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Neneh formulated a comprehensive five-year plan that integrated diversity and inclusion into the agency's overarching corporate strategic framework and human capital strategy. As Chair of the Inclusion & Diversity Council, she led efforts to evaluate and strengthen the agency's diversity, equity, and inclusion training and policies, including a thorough assessment of hiring practices and pay equity.

Neneh has a history with USAID, where she played a pivotal role in raising awareness about the U.S. government's Ebola Recovery programs in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. Through organizing high-level symposia and creating a series of impactful short documentaries, she facilitated a deeper understanding of the lessons learned from the outbreak and the USAID-led response and recovery efforts.
